Our readers are people looking for information about telecommunications related services. Your article that you submit will need to be about telecommunications services. If you want to pitch it from an angle, and it is not directly about telecom services and issues, then you should email us first and get approval on your idea so that you don't waste time writing something that we may not end up accepting and publishing.
That said, there are a few other rules that you are agreeing to by submitting your article to us:
• Your article must be original and written by you. No exceptions. You must own the copyright to the article you submit to us.
• Your article must NOT be published anywhere else on the Internet. We *will* check, so please don't bother submitting an article that is on every article directory site out there. We are not an article directory. We are a telecommunications agency and we will only feature new, unique and informative content NOT found anywhere else on the web.
• You will give all copyrights of the article to Discountlongdistancerates.com - provided that for as long as the article is published on our site that we maintain a link back to your website. We do NOT pay for article submissions at this time. Payment is in the form of promotion via a byline in your article with a link to your site.
• We will not accept articles crediting inappropriate sites in the byline. We don't sell diet pills, don't refer our viewers to sites with nothing but ads and don't want to promote gambling to our visitors. Make sure the site in your byline is clean, family friendly, something worth showing the world and something you wouldn't be embarrassed to show your mother.
• All articles must be a MINIMUM of 800 words. We reserve the right to make any grammar corrections that may be necessary before publishing or to edit the article as needed.
• You must check the site to make sure that we do not already have an article covering the same topic you wish to write on or that you can provide enough new information about that topic to warrant a new article on it.
All articles MUST follow the following format. If you do not follow the following format, your submission will likely be caught in a spam filter or passed over for publication:
• Articles must be in the body of the email. We will NOT accept attachments. If you send an attachment, your article will not be published.
• You byline must be written with links you want in it included in HTML code.
• You may link within the body of the article IF it makes sense. Articles written to sell your product instead of inform the user about a topic will not be published. Linking within the body of the article is subject to editing at our discretion.
• Make sure you check your facts. If we see inaccuracies, we will stop editing the article and it will not be published.
• Articles should be emailed to submissions@discountlongdistancerates.com and the subject line should read: "Article Submission for Discountlongdistancerates.com". If you do not use that subject line, the likelihood of your article being caught by a spam filter and not reaching us is pretty good.
Articles are usually edited in a timely fashion. Once you submit your article, you will receive notification as to whether or not it will be published within two weeks. You will only receive notification if your article is going to be published.
We enjoy giving people the opportunity to inform our readers while giving themselves some exposure. Our guidelines may seem tough, but we have a great site and we aim to keep the quality bar continually raised.
